KingsEmpire is the controller of your personal data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Slovak Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on the Protection of Personal Data.
You can contact us about privacy at [email protected].

3. Why we use it and our legal basis
- To create and run your account and give beta access: performance of a contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To answer your messages: our legitimate interest in replying to you, or steps you ask us to take before entering a contract (Art. 6(1)(f) and 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To keep the website and accounts secure and prevent abuse: our legitimate interest in protecting our services (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- To meet legal obligations: where the law requires us to keep or disclose data (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
4. Cookies
This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies. Our fonts are hosted on our own server, so loading a page does not send your data to font providers.
When you log in, we set one strictly necessary session cookie on api.kingsempire.eu to keep you logged in. It is deleted when you log out or when the session expires. This cookie is required for the service to work and does not need your consent.
5. Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the website. Our website and API are delivered through Cloudflare, Inc., which handles network traffic (including IP addresses) to deliver and protect our services. Service providers process data on our behalf, follow our instructions and are bound by data processing agreements under Art. 28 GDPR.
Account data and messages you send through our contact form are stored in our own database on our servers.
We may also disclose data if the law requires it, for example to a court or public authority.
Links to Discord and YouTube take you to services run by other companies. Their own privacy policies apply when you use them.
6. Transfers outside the EU
If a service provider processes your data outside the European Economic Area, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as an adequacy decision of the European Commission (including the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework) or Standard Contractual Clauses. Cloudflare is based in the United States.
7. How long we keep it
- Account data: for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise this data unless the law requires us to keep it.
- Messages you send us: as long as needed to deal with your request.
- Server logs: only as long as needed for security and troubleshooting.
8. Security
We use HTTPS to encrypt data sent between your browser and our website, and we store passwords only in hashed form. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data.
9. Minimum age
You must be at least 5 years old to create a KingsEmpire account.
10. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data deleted;
- restrict how we use your data;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- object to processing based on our legitimate interests;
- withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent.
To use any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will reply within one month. We may ask you to confirm your identity first.
11. Complaints
If you think we have handled your data incorrectly, please contact us first so we can try to fix it. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority. In Slovakia this is the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic (Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky), dataprotection.gov.sk. You can also complain to the authority in the EU country where you live or work.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services change, for example when accounts or new games launch. We will change the effective date above, and for important changes we will tell account holders by email or on the website.
